A Freelance Valley designer has announced her retirement after a series of Shine Gift Card windfalls. Ali Day-Sucker won over 1,500 of the popular gift cards on Instagram. One of the three people who liked her latest Instagram post alerted her to the windfall.
“After years of toiling as a designer and fighting the Instagram algorithm for the slightest recognition of my content, I finally feel validated. While I never understood why Instagram would only allow the same three people to see my content, it’s comforting to know Meta had a plan all along!” beamed Ali Day-Sucker.
Sources close to Instagram state many accounts are experiencing Shine’s generosity. They frequently tag individual accounts to promote the Shine brand and give away millions of gift cards worldwide. Upon receiving the gift card, users are required to pay a small fee of $2 per card, which guarantees them access to the $500 gift card. They can then enjoy the benefits of the fast fashion giant for a monthly fee of $69 for twenty-four months.
“Obviously, my current focus is ensuring I get the qualification fee organised so that I can then get all my money and retire with my winnings,” explained Ms Day-Sucker as she rummaged around the coworking joint sofa.
Cashing in her winnings isn’t the only thing on Ms Day-Sucker’s agenda, outlining an audacious plan to become an influencer for Shine in her own right.
“Now that I have seen what the company can do, you can bet I’ll be tagging as many people on Instagram as possible to share the brand!”
Meta was contacted for comment, but so far, there has been no response or acknowledgement of the message sent.
