Andrea Rowe is a children’s / YA author and short story / features writer. Her debut book Jetty Jumping (Hardie Grant) was shortlisted for Children’s Book Council of Australia Children’s Picture Book of the Year – early Childhood and was reprinted 10 times in 16 months. Her works appear in anthologies and magazines, and she is also a copywriter, editor and content strategist for Australian not-for-profit organisations. Based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Andrea also founded her own regional writing nfpo association, The Peninsula Writers’ Club and partners with the Mornington Peninsula Shire to deliver the Mayor’s Short Story Writing Award. A passionate advocate for contemporary Australian literature, she also hosts author talks as the Words after Dark interview host with Antipodes Bookstore in Sorrento and writing workshops for community.
