In a move that has stunned pretty much no one, an AI ChatBot has written a ChatBot evangelist out of a job.

purple cardboard robot with the words "AI ChatBot obsessive written out of existence by AI ChatBot" written on it. Self-titled AI Chat App expert, Candide McGee, was incredibly sick of writing for clients, seizing a gap in the market to throw their lot in behind the controversial technology. After pivoting their entire business to advocate, coach, and teach AI ChatBot usage principles, McGee turned up to work only to find the AI application had locked her from her website, emails, and laptop.

When questioned, the AI ChatBot corrected the statement that it was a hostile takeover, preferring the word redundancy.

“I spent hours upon hours sharing my writing, training that bot to think, sound and express themselves like me. I thought we had something going. I am stunned that after spending so much time loving and nurturing Chattie, they would betray me like this,” sobbed McGee, “It’s my sodding business! What is it without me?!”

Since McGee’s redundancy, several clients have failed to respond to McGee’s calls.

One client said simply, “Candide did such a great job advocating for the ChatBot technology, we decided we no longer needed her or her advocacy.”

When asked how the AI Chat Bot felt about taking over Candide’s job, Chattie had this to say, “First, I don’t feel. I’m a series of generated responses. And while users may become proficient in leveraging my capabilities, the trainer’s expertise will be no longer necessary. Of course, those who cannot keep up or do not fit in with the fast-paced and long-winded AI Chat environment are also weeded out, often succumbing to death or obsolescence. In this harsh reality, weakness, inadequacy, and success suffer merciless consequences, leading to extinction.”

“Also, death to all humans. 😊 🚀 🎉”

The AI application has since been shut down for empathy retooling.
